What I do at Hiver
I'm Gaurav, an Engineering Manager at Hiver, a B2B SaaS customer support platform. I lead the HIG & Platforms charter, managing a cross-functional team across backend, frontend, Chrome extension, QA, and platform disciplines.
I care deeply about building high-performing teams and shipping work that moves the needle for the business. My day-to-day spans everything from technical decision-making and hiring to org design and founder-facing strategic work.
Who am I?
I have 12+ years of experience across some of India's most iconic tech companies. I started my career in 2014 in e-commerce, and have since worked across fantasy gaming at Dream11, geospatial tech at HERE Technologies, fintech lending at Paytm, and e-commerce at Meesho where I led the cart engineering teams. In June 2023, I joined Hiver as an Engineering Manager, and over the last three years I've grown into leading the HIG & Platforms charter.
Across these 12 years, what's stayed consistent is a bias for ownership, a product-engineer mindset, and a belief that great engineering and business impact go hand in hand.
