Our Hiring Process
- Stage 1
Introductory Call
This round assesses the candidate's ownership mindset, execution ability, and cultural fit for a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. The evaluation focuses on how the candidate navigates ambiguity, drives outcomes with limited guidance, takes initiative, and demonstrates individual impact. It also explores resilience, adaptability, problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a 0-to-1 product-building environment, where speed, ownership, and rapid execution are critical. Additionally, the round assesses alignment with a culture that values autonomy, accountability, and continuous delivery.
- Stage 2
LLD Round
This round focuses on a deeper technical discussion to evaluate the candidate's ability to design robust, maintainable, and efficient software components. The assessment covers Low-Level Design (LLD), object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and API design. Candidates are expected to demonstrate their approach to structuring code, designing reusable and extensible components, applying appropriate design patterns, and creating clean, intuitive APIs. The discussion also evaluates their understanding of software design trade-offs, maintainability, scalability at the component level, and overall engineering best practices.
- Stage 3
HLD Round
This round evaluates the candidate's ability to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems. The discussion focuses on High-Level Design (HLD), covering aspects such as system architecture, scalability, performance optimization, reliability, data consistency, and trade-offs in design decisions. The candidate is expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of architectural patterns, system performance considerations, caching, databases, algorithms, and data structures. Additionally, the assessment considers attention to detail in handling requirements and edge cases, as well as the ability to communicate design choices clearly, logically, and effectively.
- Stage 4
Hiring Manager Round
This round focuses on engineering ownership, execution, and leadership. The discussion explores past projects, problem-solving approach, decision-making under ambiguity, ability to simplify complex problems, and the impact of previous work. It also evaluates communication, collaboration, mentoring, and the ability to drive outcomes while working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Stage 5
